"Synesthesia is a neurologically based phenomenon in which stimulation of one sensory or cognitive pathway leads to automatic, involuntary experiences in a second sensory or cognitive pathway."

I've written about this in my blog somewhere before. The idea of physically experiencing something through one sense, and then interpreting it through another is something that I still think about alot. I have a good friend with the 'disorder' and his experiences are really remarkable.

I think I have alot to gain from this mode of thinking.
What does a color smell like? What does a sound taste like?

spectacular schizophrenia.
